Konekt and SRC Solutions merged in March 2016, and the two teams recently moved into shared offices at 2 King Street, Deakin. Not only are there now 40 health professionals in one location, but the new office has impressive, custom created facilities for the benefit of staff and clients.
Konekt’s Chief Executive, Damian Banks, says the office will enable the teams to draw on their vast combined experience to provide the best possible service to clients. “Our new Canberra office contains a dedicated training facility for up to 30 people, meeting facilities, convenient parking and a site befitting of the ACT’s number one provider,” he says.
At time of writing, there were already over 500 person training days booked in for the office’s training facility before Christmas. These programs include:
• Health and Safety Representative Training
• Work Safety for Managers and Supervisors
• Managing Psychosocial Risks for Senior Executives
The merger with SRC Solutions, a leading provider of return to work, assessment and training services in the ACT, has significantly grown the Konekt Group’s already large presence in the nation’s capital.
“SRC’s consulting staff has extensive industry knowledge, not to mention strong federal and local government relationships. Through investing in this organisation, we are excited about what we can bring to both the local and national markets.” Damian says.
The SRC Solutions and Konekt teams provide a broad range of services, from ergonomic assessments, work health and safety training, injury prevention, to assistance with managing injured or ill workers to return to work.
“Both teams consist of dedicated and passionate health and rehabilitation professionals who are focused on delivering safer, healthier, productive workplaces,” Damian says.
SRC Solutions was not Konekt’s only merger activity in 2015-16. The group joined forces with four other companies, enhancing its capabilities in South Australia, ACT and NSW, and broadening the service offerings to our customers. “We’re proud to now be able to provide expanded services to the communities of regional NSW, South Australia and the ACT.” adds Damian.
