Konekt’s unique injury response framework offers significant benefits to managers in: the early reporting and response of injuries, the facilitation of early return to work, in addition to providing recommendations on the sustainability of employment for the injured.
Early Injury Reporting
At Konekt, we’ve made it easy for businesses to report all injuries in a quick and consistent manner. Our Call Centre facilitates the recording of injuries via a 1300 number, as they occur anywhere in Australia. Our operators collect the injury details, providing you a comprehensive report and account of the type of injury, when it occurred, and what actions were taken.
Information Collection and Analysis
When a significant injury is identified, Konekt can provide you with immediate medical triage given through the guidance of our national team of allied health professionals. This allows for early response to injuries and the engagement of medical treatment which could significantly influence an early return to work and reduce potential claims costs.
Initial Workplace Conference
The Initial Workplace Conference is a program that is engaged in at the early stage of the injury management process. The objective of the service is to assist the injured worker in achieving an early recovery and durable return to work. This is achieved through a consultation process involving a Konekt allied health professional, the injured worker, and employer, to identify suitable duties while also developing a return to work plan.
