Return to work coordinator training provides participants with an understanding of the role, functions and responsibilities of a return to work coordinator regardless of the jurisdiction that they work in.

As a participant in this program you will build a sound knowledge of:

As a participant, you will be trained by skilled and knowledgeable industry professionals who are current in their understanding of the return to work landscape.

Our trainers have extensive experience to share with you from their own experiences working with employers, injured workers and medical providers within the Return to Work Scheme.

Group participation within a supportive environment is a key component of our training. Participants are able to share their own experiences and learn from other participants, which assists in problem solving common issues that arise.

You will walk away from this training confident in your knowledge and in your ability to be an effective return to work coordinator within your organisation.

Once the program is completed; participants are awarded a certificate and are recognised as an approved return to work coordinator with ReturntoWorkSA.


2 day course

Facilitated as virtual and classroom-based to suit your requirements.

NEW – 1 day hybrid course

Self-paced completion of six online learning modules followed by 1 day of training either virtual or classroom based.

*Online learning modules will need to be completed a minimum of 7 days prior to the scheduled training.

Training schedule

8.50am: Sign-in
9.00am: Welcome/introductions
11.00am: Morning tea (15 minutes)
12.30pm: Lunch (30 minutes)
2.45pm: Afternoon tea (15 minutes)
4.30pm: Finish
