Return to Work Coordinator Training

Delivering a nationally consistent program

For employers operating across multiple jurisdictions, the varied nature of workers compensation and rehabilitation requirements can be time-consuming and costly to manage. Konekt are working with large employers in the development and delivery of streamlined and nationally- consistent approaches to rehabilitation and return to work, that are compliant with local regulations whilst offering simplicity and consistency.

Konekt’s program of Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator training reflects this approach, by offering national employers the opportunity to ensure a tailored, consistent message is delivered to those individuals working at the frontline of rehabilitation and return to work.

The Konekt Return to Work Coordinator training is a short program designed to give RTW Coordinators an understanding of workers rehabilitation and compensation schemes. It includes the responsibilities of employers, injured workers and third parties. The training program provides the RTW Coordinators with an understanding of the skills and language used within the industry, and the roles of doctors, allied health professionals, line managers and injured workers. Training includes how to identify suitable duties and develop return to work plans.

In South Australia and New South Wales there are minimum satisfaction criteria, but beyond this there is mostly common ground in desired learnings across all jurisdictions.
