An Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Assessment measures an individual’s functional ability to safely perform everyday tasks. This includes self‑care activities, domestic tasks and general community mobility.
The focus of an ADL is to support greater independence, while maintaining safety and considering the impact of an injury or illness on day‑to‑day function.
All ADLs are completed by a registered occupational therapist with experience in functional assessment and rehabilitation.
