Helping clients to overcome barriers to workplace reintegration

At Konekt, we understand the challenges injured workers face when returning to work—both physically and psychologically. That’s why we’ve developed our Injury Adjustment Coaching Service, designed to address these barriers and empower individuals with the tools they need to successfully reintegrate into their workplace.
This evidence-based program uses a biopsychosocial approach and focuses on the root causes of recovery challenges, offering personalised support to complement existing return to work plans and promote sustainable, meaningful outcomes for both workers and their employers.
This program is thoughtfully designed to provide comprehensive support throughout the recovery journey. The service includes an in-depth assessment, personalised coaching sessions, and a structured closure to ensure sustainable results.
An initial consultation, including administration of psychosocial tools, to uncover specific barriers, followed by a Initial Consult Report with actionable recommendations.
Up to five tailored 60-minute coaching sessions, each addressing core psychological and physical recovery challenges.
A final 30-minute session to celebrate progress, assess outcomes, and set clear next-step guidance.
Our program is built around five key modules that address critical areas impacting workplace recovery, delivered through one-on-one tailored coaching by experienced allied health professionals. This focused, professional guidance ensures each worker receives personalised support to overcome their unique challenges effectively.
Clients learn to identify emotional triggers and adopt practical coping strategies for better emotional regulation.
Clients gain an in-depth understanding of the physiological pain process and discover ways to actively engage in healing and recovery.
Clients navigate periods of significant change with tools and strategies to adapt effectively.
Clients explore the interplay between depression and chronic pain and learn methods for managing their effects on recovery.
Clients reflect on thought patterns and behaviours to develop healthier strategies for managing pain and sustaining progress.
The ultimate goal of Injury Adjustment Coaching is to enhance an individual’s capacity to work and support a sustainable return to work outcome.
By addressing the personal and psychological barriers, this program enables workers to reconnect with their workplace responsibilities confidently and effectively.
